Privacy notice

This notice explains what information Coverage Companion collects, how it is used and protected, and the choices you have.

Who operates this service

Coverage Companion is a private client portal operated by an independent Medicare insurance agent. It is not Medicare, a government website, or a carrier system. Service availability is confirmed individually before ongoing service begins.

The operator is responsible for the information you share here and for responding to privacy questions or requests.

Information we collect

Account information you or your agent provide to create and use your account, such as your name, email address, and a password you choose.

Review information you enter to prepare for a yearly Medicare review, such as your current coverage, doctors, medicines and pharmacy, costs, and priorities.

Messages, appointment requests, discussion records, and administrative tasks exchanged with your assigned agent inside the portal.

Basic technical information needed to keep the service secure, such as sign-in activity.

Information we do not collect here

Please do not enter Medicare ID numbers, Social Security numbers, banking or payment card details, or upload documents. The portal is not designed to collect that information.

Coverage Companion does not rank or recommend plans, provide quotes, submit enrollments, or make eligibility, suitability, grievance, or appeal decisions. Those actions happen through your agent and official carrier or government systems.

How we use your information

To help you and your assigned agent prepare for your Medicare review, communicate securely, coordinate appointments, and keep track of follow-up tasks.

To operate, secure, and support the service.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

How we protect your information

Sensitive review content is encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and the portal uses account, assignment, and organization checks intended to limit access to authorized people.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit what is collected and shared.

Sharing your information

Your information is visible to you and to your actively assigned agent. It is not shared with other clients.

We may share information when required by law, to protect the service, or with service providers who help operate the portal under confidentiality obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update your account information, ask questions about how your information is used, and request that your information be corrected or removed, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements.

Contact your agent through the portal to make a request.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as the service changes. The current version is always available at this page.
